bruh theres no way i found this its kinda useless rn but it could be good,go into the sewers and go to the fan part ,but instead of going into the pipe to get into the final part go onto the wall, get it right and mabey we could clip into the ceiling.
i encountered some bugs with the golden pogo i think, like in the drawbridge area the water never rises when using the golden pogo, is it a trigger with the checkpoint that doesn't get activated?
My other project (jumpchat) i’m a lot more invested in, but its not really any specific game as much as a set of tools for creating new games. Just as an example, I could port pogo3d into the jumpchat engine to support multiplayer, replays, customizeable characters, multiple vehicles, etc. like I’ll make a level editor in the jumpchat engine, and then no matter what games I make after that, they will all have a level editor.
maybe I won’t specifically port pogo3d over, maybe another game of a similar style. what other games do you speedrun?
you can simply check my sr.c profile, it has what games i run there. I usually like 2D games, but recently I've been trying to find 3D games to run, like A Craft of Mine (which didn't get put on sr.c)
But also, what you're saying is jumpchat is kind of a "game engine" of sorts? if so, that's pretty cool
if you have multiplayer in a steam release, you can make levels that require multiple people, like a puzzle that needs 2 levers pressed at the same time, that sort of thing
naw that code is so old and crusty. I plan to make more stuff like that but I’ll make it by slicing off of jumpchat once I have some more features in it.
Very cool game! The pogo stick mechanic was really unique and interesting, I enjoyed the difficulty level, and the low-fi visuals reminded me of 3D games I played as a kid. The secrets added some nice depth too.
I completed all four levels plus the throne room bonus area and collected three coins, I would have liked to get 100% but I think that's all I have time for right now.
A few critiques:
- I thought the "indoor" areas were too dark, I could barely make out anything in most of the sewer level.
- The Yard felt sluggish and a bit tedious compared to the other levels. The game felt the most fun when you were moving fast and trying to avoid flying out of control.
- The color palette was a little drab, I think you could brighten up the colors to make things feel more lively.
- After completing the last level in Firefox, the screen went black and I had to reload the page to continue.
Just a thing i want to mention, with updates and speedrunning could you make older versions downloadable? If you do, I can properly add a version variable to the sr.c page.
maybe not every single build, but if I change something that ruins speedruns somehow I’ll obviously host the older version.
I don’t plan to lengthen the “main story” any further past what it already is. Additional content will be secret levels attached at branch points along the “main story” or standalone oneshot chapters
hah. that’s world position (0,0,0). I left it there visible on purpose since turning the object on/off was a little extra work and there’s no harm in it if you are playing the game the normal way. I wonder if anything happens when you touch it
so i don't know if this is useful at all, i'd need to know the size of the hitbox but i was streaming just now and was trying to find a skip faster than the slide skip, and i think i did.
can you show me the size of the credits trigger hitbox?
:P if it comes to it reset the game. It’s just an optional side area. once you make it into the well there’s nothing else to see anyway.
The jump out of the cave is trickier than most of the stuff in the first half of the game
Go fast forward, then aim your rabbit backwards about 10° away further than perpendicular to the ground. Those instructions might not be exact, but through trial and error you might randomly get a good jump. It's very hard to achieve though, and I've only done it once through luck
oh thanks for letting me know. really really stupid bug caused the wrong map to load. fixed in v1.2.2 which I just uploaded (no other changes). Let me know if you have any other problems or suggestions
…also good luck with that one LOL
I actually find random indie games and start speedrunning them, it gives some exposure to those indie games by creating a small speedrunning community around them.
I enjoyed the main game (only 1 secret so far), but the second part in the sewers drove me nuts. I thought that was a huge difficulty spike, everything else was fine. It's fun tho :)

After over 1000 deaths and the timer said I played 117 hours... i finally beat it

dang i havent plaed this in awhile smash bros does some stuff to you.
how does one wall jump?

ur right
you should create a discord server about this game
i can create one for the speedrunning community
I made a discord https://discord.gg/YqdemsDVUF
Are you working on anything other than pogo3d right now?
anything... speedrunnable?

yeah haha a game engine inside a game engine. that’s the idea
if you have multiplayer in a steam release, you can make levels that require multiple people, like a puzzle that needs 2 levers pressed at the same time, that sort of thing
what you get for completing golden pogo?
:^) nothing…
wait there is a golden pogo?
yeah if you beat the game with the silver pogo (less checkpoints) you unlock the golden pogo (NO checkpoints)
i'll ad that to the sr.c then
what about shiny pogo in the game files?
early version of silver pogo i never removed I guess.
wait how did you find that?
AssetStudio to inspect textures and UABEA to change them (can probably change the trail but thats hard)
also you can check my tutorial on this (thats another game but thats actually the same process):
so you can have a custom cosmetics in pogo3d like mirrors edge cosmetic mods? thats sick
hm… i have recolorable player models in jumpchat. i wonder if I should add this to paid pogo3d
you really do get nothing... i spent way too long trying to find out lol
this game made me racist
my dick inverted from this game
this game also impregnated me
this game impregnated me
common Logan W
oki doki
this game makes me want to eat cheese and crackers really badly. its so hard (just like me).
Only thing is misssing is playing as girl bunny maybe Blue or Purple or Pink bunny is good colors or yellow
Or light blue to
i do think more customization should be a thing, like the custom pogo could have custom colors maybe
Great game! I would personaly love to see this game get speedrunned. I love the cute & simplistic art style! Extremely hard & cute! 7.8/10
You're in luck, cause I have already done that.
pretty neat
You still working on pursuer btw?
naw that code is so old and crusty. I plan to make more stuff like that but I’ll make it by slicing off of jumpchat once I have some more features in it.

Would love a timer for personal bests.

Amazing concept. Fun challenge game.

speaking of lengthening the game, if you ever do make a steam release PLEASE add a level editor
(so players can make their own custom additions to the game)
was too har
there's a hidden goal ballon under the map
i noticed that, its pretty strange
hah. that’s world position (0,0,0). I left it there visible on purpose since turning the object on/off was a little extra work and there’s no harm in it if you are playing the game the normal way. I wonder if anything happens when you touch it
was trying to touch it for like 15 mins but couldnt get it
i was near tho
i hit it while streaming! (1:45)
maybe this could be a speedrun category...
lol it sounds cool as fuck to fly past
lol it sounds cool as fuck to fly past
Seems like a lot of people are playing this game now, judging by the increase of comments recently.
Start speedrunning it, and help me create a speedrunning community around this game!
Here's the current WR by dylancubr9
here’s a skip that might be faster than that. depends how fast you can get up the slide
so i don't know if this is useful at all, i'd need to know the size of the hitbox but i was streaming just now and was trying to find a skip faster than the slide skip, and i think i did.
can you show me the size of the credits trigger hitbox?
(26:35)
im at work right now but that trigger is pretty tiny you’d need a lot of velocity towards the end room to hit it
Any tips for how to get out of the cave behind the waterfall?
:P if it comes to it reset the game. It’s just an optional side area. once you make it into the well there’s nothing else to see anyway. The jump out of the cave is trickier than most of the stuff in the first half of the game
Speaking of, whats up with that hourglass?

me and my friend was looking for speedrun games an found this,to me its kinda hard and tricky but i like it.
Where did you guys see this game?
I was scrolling through itch trying to find games to put on speedrun.com, and found Pogo3D! Also Mind the Gap 2 is broken and it doesn't load the map
oh thanks for letting me know. really really stupid bug caused the wrong map to load. fixed in v1.2.2 which I just uploaded (no other changes). Let me know if you have any other problems or suggestions …also good luck with that one LOL
I don't think the fix worked... the spawn is even weirder now
i wonder if there are any in the sewers?
ok i made it in but.............
yeah i found that and i'm wondering what that is
I think it's a giant hourglass, don't know what it means though.
if you go behind the waterfall then you can find a well but i cant get in
get good.
Been doing Speedruns of this game, and I'm getting really good at finding tricks.
Found things like this, which could be very useful.
Also, I beat all your times on the first page.
wow I had no idea about that rooftop skip. that’s so cool. thanks for playing
yeah i like pushing games to their limits
not that usefull i think:
normal route (with drawbridge skip (fast ver)) - 20 sec (my pb)
rooftop skip (no mistakes which is really hard) - 25 sec
There needs to be a speed run of this!
Thanks for making me want to do this...
(also this isn't a very good run)
Thanks for making one of my many internet dreams come true!
you're welcome :)
I actually find random indie games and start speedrunning them, it gives some exposure to those indie games by creating a small speedrunning community around them.
Yo, this game is nice. Keep on the good work.
Thanks so much for playing! :D
Hey! This game is awesome! Do you have an email for business inquiries?
hedgewizardsdev@gmail.com I’m easiest to reach on twitter
Hum... I
ll send you an email. thanks
I enjoyed the main game (only 1 secret so far), but the second part in the sewers drove me nuts. I thought that was a huge difficulty spike, everything else was fine. It's fun tho :)
