New in 1.2.4:
See more clearly where/how you died!
An animation plays on death so you can see what killed you.
Added water / lava splash effects when falling into water / lava.
Some surfaces that used to not leave death markers (like the rotating fans) now leave death markers
I also fixed Challenge 2_5 MIND THE GAP 2 to not be bugged. for real this time.
note for speedrunners: you can press R or left click to end the death animation early, and the game’s timer does not count time spent watching this animation

Can you have a toggle for the death animation? since the "show time" doesn't actually show in game, speedrunners have to use an external timer program like livesplit, it'll still time the death animation, which means the 2 ms before it registers the left click will add up if there are multiple deaths.
Yeah I’ll add an option for it. I should add the final time to the credits too while I’m at it
Forgot to mention the credits time thing as well, it'd be great for runners who decide not to use an external timer
